Routing Unassigned Extensions
You can configure MaxACD to route a call to an unassigned extension to
• Another extension
• The operator
• An external number (which must be a route definition you’ve created in General >
Out Call Routing Configuration).
If you don’t configure this, callers will hear an “invalid
number” message when they dial
an unassigned extension.
You can configure the routes of calls to single extension numbers and to ranges of
nu
mbers.
Configuring the Route
1. Select General > Unassigned Extension Number Configuration and click Add.

2. Enter the range of the unassigned extension(s) you want to route:
